Theory: Friends Names

I have this memory of being in the car when I was about seven years old, and asking my dad what he thought of my best friends name at the time- Sarah. I didn't mind it back then. My dad told me that if a person is your friend, you like their name. When I was little I thought this was a way to determine who was my friend, and who was not, but I have since realized that if you like someone, you generally will learn to like their name. So, what do you guys think? Do you like your friends names? Have you always liked them? Do you hate people you dislike names? (I do :) Tell me what you think.

Baby name lovers, how often do your favorite names change? Mine usually will stay the same for months and months. I know some of you out there change almost every week, while some of you have had the same favorite name forever! Let me know.

Books I Ordered!

Today, I ordered three of the best baby naming books out there. Yes, I'm talking about The Baby Name Bible, Cool Names for Babies, and Beyond Ava and Aiden, all by Linda Rosenkrantz and Pamela Redmond Satran the baby naming gurus. They are scheduled to come at the end of the week. I'm so excited! I'll tell you guys when they come.

Prediction: Duggars Next Baby

As some of you might know, I happen to watch the TV show 19 Kids and Counting on a regular basis. In case you are unaware of their strange naming style, all their kids names start with J. They even named one of their daughters Jinger. Now, I hate J names for either gender, but I started to think about what the Duggars would name their next hypothetical child. I have a few guesses that I wanted to share with you guys.

Jacob- I am really surprised that they haven't used this one yet. This is my top guess for their next boy.
