25 Days of Christmas: Noel

Today's name is another unisex one- Noel. Noel is currently ranked at 455 in the U.S. for boys. His meaning is "Chrismas." The feminine Noelle is a little more popular, coming in at #357. The spelling Noel is much more popular for boys than it is girls.

Noel has been slowly decreasing in popularity ever since his peak in 1938. His lack of use is just one of the reasons he would make a great choice. Noel has no nicknames and would also be a very unexpected choice. He is very associated with Christmas, but if that's what you're going for, he should be at the top of the list for boys.
